My Story

I am Poorabie.

A brand strategist and marketer. I have worked in business strategy teams; launched brands, marketed them and made businesses flourish. My parents tell me I had a streak of imagination from very initial years.

There was this one time, while waiting for the school bus and sailing paper boats in the open gutters of a suburb in Mumbai I noticed a wrapper of Rin fabric soap stuck in the gutter. I observed it for a long time and then turned to my father who had accompanied me, "shouldn't the water on the other side of the Rin packet be clean!" I said innocently.

So, that's how in-tune I have been with brand communication and their marketing strategies.

I am (on paper) a fresh entrepreneur set out to work as a business & education facilitator. Guiding passionate individuals convert their ideas into enterprise via my 2 years old set up. In my mind I guess, I always was the entrepreneur guide I have now become!

I am from that school of thought where it is believed that learning is most effective when it takes place in social environments that provide authentic social cues about how knowledge is to be applied. My therapy sessions for entrepreneurs and corporate teams are known to be energising and restorative.

I am also a theatre enthusiast - director, improvs actor, playwright, teacher. 

I conduct Self Development Programs through creativity & play. The powerful tool of storytelling, scribbling and play is a method I indulge in to impart ethics, values and cultural norms to fellow learners through this course. Giving something back to the society what I have learnt from my humble 12 years of the corporate world experience and philosophical pondering of three decades.
